This is my journey caring for a spouse with Parkinson's Disease. The book includes educational pages, since caring for Parkinson's involves learning some specialized vocabulary. Here's an honest look at this disease from a caregiver's perspective. I wanted to share some of my own experiences in case it helps or entertains anyone. My humor consultant was cartoonist and fellow caregiver Robert Brunelle. (This book is NOT for people with Parkinson's Disease.)

Decades ago, Mark thought that he had not only found a cool and smart group of people to hang out with, but that he and his group were special and privy to some of the hidden secrets of mankind. In fact, they were the chosen descendants of Atlantis, sent on a mission. Slowly, the leader became unhinged, demanding large amounts of money, spending hours screaming at them and demanding their allegiance. Mark realized that he was actually part of a destructive cult. Many years later, he noticed that many common elements of the dynamics that he experienced in cult leadership were now apparent in our current politics. Here's his story, with hope that we can rise above cult politics and keep our constitution.
